Legislative and Outreach Director, David Theriault

Dave TheriaultDave is a native of Maine where he spent much of his childhood playing in the woods and acquiring a dry sense of humor.  He left Maine after high school to attend Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa during where he developed an encyclopedic knowledge of the region's gravel roads while running on the cross-country team.  After graduating in 2004 with a B.A. in History, Dave became the first Environmental Coordinator at the college, a position he held for one year.  He then matriculated at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon where he earned a J.D. and a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resource Law in 2008.  Dave then promptly packed his car with all his personal belongings and drove to Alaska where he has worked for Rep. Les Gara in the State Legislature for two sessions and managed Rep. Bob Buch's re-election campaign during the 2010 election cycle.  He enjoys running, cycling, skiing, "slow-and-low" grilling, and poorly produced films.
