The AMC Goals are to:

1. Secure improved and stable capital and operating funding for existing community public transportation systems and services available to the public using:

• Federal legislation and appropriations
• Established funding mechanisms in state and local budgets
• Taxes and user Fees

2.  Safe and cost effective rides to meet local, regional and state mobility needs through: 

• Maximized resources through coordination
• Education and advocacy

3.  New sustainable coordinated community transportation with: 

• Startup funding available for new community transportation services
• Community transportation designed to meet specific community needs
• Mobility incorporated into local, regional and state planning process
