Hands off our Coastal Trail!

Coastal TrailThe city’s Draft West Anchorage District Plan recommends a “Comprehensive Land Exchange” that would give the Airport Pt. Woronzof Park & a section of the Coastal Trail/Greenbelt for Airport Development.  The public said “NO!” in 2008 — it’s time to say “NO!” again!

Please tell the Assembly you're against giving limited west-side park space (Pt. Woronzof Park) to the airport.
It seems like the airport is just using scare tactics to try and get what they want: land near the coastal trail south of Pt. Woronzof. When Pt. Woronzof Park was dedicated as parkland, it was described as one of Anchorage's premier urban wilderness areas. Join us in keeping it that way.
