First step taken in laying foundation for Alaska energy policy
Wednesday, March 17, 2010, Juneau, Alaska - The Alaska House of Representatives today unanimously passed House Bill 306, the first step to solving Alaska's long-term energy needs. The bill, sponsored by the House Special Committee on Energy, establishes an overarching energy policy to guide the legislature, the administration, utilities, conservation groups, and everyday Alaskans toward the collective goal of providing more affordable and stable energy in Alaska.
