Northern Voices-Grassroots Protection of the Arctic Refuge

 

Join the Northern Alaska Environmental Center for a presentation that highlights grassroots activism's role in protecting the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and how Alaskans reached out to the "Lower 48" through the traveling slide show of the "Last Great Wilderness" and lobbying efforts.

Get a free poster in celebration of National Wildlife Refuge week Oct. 11 - 17!

This event is free as part of the Northern Voices speaker series, organized by the Northern Alaska Environmental Center, a non-profit organization that promotes conservation of the environment and sustainable resource stewardship in Interior and Arctic Alaska through education and advocacy.
